Ideal for yogis with restricted flexibility, recovering from injury or illness or liking a gentler approach.
A complete practice incorporating yoga asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation and relaxation. Natural heat is built in the body using a combination of dynamic and static yoga postures. A strong focus is placed upon breath and mindfulness. This practice is suitable for all yogis, with variations offered.
An energising morning practice designed to ignite the agni within, our inner fire. With strong Agni we are motivated, purposeful, have good digestion, detoxification and improved gut health. Prepare to get energised! We practice Agnisara Kriya, Salute to Sun, core strengthening poses, back bends, Kapala Bhati pranayama and short meditation to finish. Definitely no eating before this morning class!
Our Stretch & Relax class is a deliciously relaxing floor-based practice with longer holds and deeper stretches. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement. A deeply meditative practice with focus on breath and using the exhalation to let go of physical and mental tension and surrender into the present moment.
